Drago
A fully integrated Biellese mill weaving over 1.7 million metres a year — where extra-fine wool meets genuine performance.
Performance, woven the Italian way
Drago was founded in Biella in 1973 by the Drago family, beginning in spinning before specializing in fabrics and expanding worldwide. The acquisition of the Fintes brand in 1993 and heavy investment in technology made it one of the few fully integrated mills — spinning, weaving and finishing under its own roof, across two Biellese plants at Lessona and Verrone.
Today, under President Paolo Drago with the third generation in management, the mill produces over 1.7 million metres of high-end fabric a year, prized from Italy to Japan, Korea and the USA. Its icons — Skyfall's 14.5-micron wool, finer than cashmere, and Bluefeel's natural stretch — prove that performance and elegance were never opposites.
