Accessibility

b.spoke wants every client to be able to learn about our work, browse our fabrics and book an appointment, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We build accessibility into the site itself rather than relying on an overlay or plug-in.

What we've done

• Written text descriptions for the photos across our site, so screen readers describe each image.
• Adjusted colors, including our Book Appointment button, so text meets contrast requirements.
• Given every page a clear main heading and a logical heading structure.
• Enlarged small buttons and links so they're easier to tap.
• Kept a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link for keyboard users.

Known limitations

Some content comes from third-party services, including our Google reviews feed, Instagram feed, Calendly booking calendar and embedded videos. We don't control how those are built, and parts of them may not be fully accessible. If any of them gets in your way, contact us and we'll help directly.
